eDATA Unerase is a program designed to recover lost or deleted files from hard drives, floppy disks or removable storage media. It comes in two versions: Personal and Professional editions. The Personal edition is free, and only recovers certain type of files, but performs the same job. The Pro edition has a cost of $32 dollars, works faster, and is not limited in functions.
As always, this company cares about effectiveness and simplicity, that is why eDATA is really easy-to-use. It is so simple that a wizard will guide the user to recover the files in three simple steps: 1- Select source, 2 - Select search options, and 3 - Scan and save the recovered files to a pointed location.
A New addition in this latest version (for both editions) is that a deleted file list is provided with easy sorting options.
So eDATA is definitively worth having because it will find your personal data even if it has been deleted by a virus, cleared from the Recycle Bin, lost due to drive formatting or system crash.
